Changes

Hey! Well, I'm officially residing in the Rainy City. Although I can't say it's been anything but HOT these last few days. I'm happy that I have the air conditioner on, while I acclimate to the humidity and such. This never would have been possible without the help of such great friends. I can't tell you how hard it was to leave such good people behind, they are completely irreplaceable. Everyone helped pack, load and a few lovely people even drove over to Seattle with me to unload the big bad truck and help get me settled. Its amazing how great my friends are. Especially with the stress of moving, the things that always go wrong....and the fact that you just gotta roll with it.

I re-opened the shops but the update with new product will still not happen until close to the 5th. I have so much to unpack but find it hard to focus on doing so now that all the art stuff is out of boxes. Really, that's all I need ;) I do have LOTS of new buttons that will be going up. Keep checking, it may happen sooner!

I'm catching up on everything so please be patient! I'm doing job interviews and other busy things but I'll do my best to get back to you!

Moving!!!

Two weeks from today I will be packing up and driving to Seattle! There is still a lot left to figure out but I know for sure that I love that city, and couldn't be more excited to get to live there again. After tomorrow I will be closing my etsy shops until after the 1st of Aug when I'm settled in again. I hope to have a lot of new items to include in the shops once I re-open them. I'm on the prowl for a job still...so hopefully I find something very soon. I'll be available via email through the 24th before the move...but I have big plans to pack, have a killer yard sale, and a Friend's marathon with Michal. See you in the rainy city!

July DT projects

Cassette Assemblage

I promised I would post better pictures of the Cassette tape assemblage. This is a three piece I made, my first assemblage. I am hoping to create some more, I'm thinking one with robots? Not until next month when all the moving is over. This piece is going to the lovely Shawna!

I will post some of the new DT layouts either Friday or next Wednesday. We are going to look at apts in Seattle and enjoy Pikes Market over the weekend. It's all still scary and unsure, but hopefully this trip will result in an apartment and a good job prospect for me.

Today, I am mailing art, which makes me happy. And I'm listening to the new Rob Thomas album that came out yesterday. It makes me want to put up twinkle lights and dance. I think this was written about my life....love it.[image cred: Swirly Girl]
