Giveaway!

We've been working on re-organizing the apartment, and slowly it's all coming together. Getting a functional office/craft space is hard to do but thanks to the magical land of Ikea I think we're finally achieving what we want. I'll post pictures when it's done!

Today, in the absence of photos, I thought it might be fun to do a giveaway! I don't know about all of you, but I hate making resolutions...I find that I don't stick to them. What I do believe in is setting goals (not because we feel obligated to but because we want to) and striving to reach them. I don't know if you remember this post...with my 24 things? Well, those ARE my resolutions for the year. All 24 are goals for the year, which is now half way over.

If you'd like to win some free stuff...(come on, you know you do!) Leave me a comment with a goal you have accomplished in the last year! Here's what you could win:xo,

I'm jealous that you are close to Ikea! :)

A goal I've accomplished? I created a logo for my "business". Not sure what I want to really do, though. :)

Yay! Good job checking items off your list. I wrote out goals for the year too. Several of them have to do with completeing projects on our house we bought in May. They're nothing earth-shattering, but they need to get done and will help us create the kind of space we really want to live in.

In 2009 I picked the word: SIMPLIFY as a concept to shoot for... I thought of this word often and really did find ways to simplify my life and just get things done. I was pretty proud of myself for sticking to it! =) This year, I picked: APPRECIATE...

My goal was to get over my ex. It took nine long, long months but I could finally say it.

My goal was to make myself happy before others all the time. I have a way of taking on others problems and not dealing with my own. :)

Mine wasn't necessarily to lose weight, but to get in shape and at least feel better. I've been going to the gym at least 3 times a week-- and even though I'm not really losing much, it makes me feel a whole lot better about doing something. =)

I have accomplished something major last year: I lost 25 pounds and started training on a regular basis of three times a week. But the most surprising is that I am like you, I don't like putting to much pressure on resolutions so it was like an open objective: loosing weight yes but with no definite timelines and magic goal number. It worked out very well.
